Hi all, its almost time for the first folk week-end since the demise of the Walton folk festival a few years ago. On the 3rd 4th and 5th of Sept with the generous support of The Victory Public House, Walton on the Naze,we are holding a folk week-end at the Victory. On Fri 3rd we have a full evening concert with Skinners Rats. On Sat 4th lunchtime we have The Naze Shanty Crew followed by a sing a round hosted by the Harwich Golden Rivets. On Sat evening a Concert by Hunt The Wren. Sun 5th from 11.30 am we have Molly Dancers,Morris Dancers and Playford Dancers followed by a afternoon session/singaround. Would love to be there, but off to the The Fylde Folk Fesival that weekend. Next year though - why not! Have a fabulous time.

Best of luck - we spent several very good years at the old Festival with Basingclog Morris and if you can reproduce something as good then its going to be a fab weekend. A bit short notice for us, but if its on next year we will try and make it.

Brilliant. I've missed Walton. Even aside from the music it's a great little seaside town. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make it this year, because notice is a bit short, but I hope this will turn out to be a regular thing.

Any chance of any camping option?
