The Elsdale Music Club will be having a fish and chip music cruise Thursday 26th August. Doors open 7.30pm Boat departs 8.30pm from Packet Boat Marina, Packet Boat Lane, Cowley, UB8 2JJ. Its a shame it clashes with Madenhead Folk Club - And will be also clashing with the New Reformed Uxbridge Folk Club . TOO much going on on Thursdays !

I feel I must take issue with you regarding the idea of a
" Bar on boar " The results of this could lead to a disaster. Firstly it could cause the prolonged singing of the Boars Head Carol after which the boar might go insane and throw itself over the side.
Secondly, you cant stand a pint glass on the back of a boar !
I also think it may be an infringement of so sort of animal charter and, if so, I will have to inform the RSPCA.
Sorry to be a boar ( or bore )

It may be a Wessex Saddleback boar, in which case it could be OK.

The cost of fish has increased almost fourfold in the past 3 years, according to a client of mine who owns several fish & chip shops!

I wot of a Pub in town that had Fish and Chips on the menu for £18.75 !!
