Subject: What was this songbook I had?

I have some photocopied sheets of trad English songs that I think came out of a book I got out of the library. It must be quite a thick book as the last one I've got is song #143 on page 151. All the songs I've copied are lovely and I'd quite like to get the original book now I'm not a skint student any more. So I'll list what I've got - does it ring any bells for anyone?

6: The Dragoon & The Lady
7: The Low Lands of Holland
25: Robin Hood & the Tanner
30: The Unquiet Grave, or Cold Blows the Wind
31: The Drowned Lover (this is the first in a section titled "Lovers' Laments")
38: Green Bushes
39: Once I had a Sweetheart
90: It's a Rosebud in June
91: Sheep Shearing
142: The Beggar
143: T Stands for Thomas

All of these songs have the attributions eg "sung by Mrs Sage (73) at Chew Stoke, Somerset, 1 April 1907" so it's a serious collection.

The book you require is 'The Crystal Spring' edited by Maud Karpeles, but be careful it was issued in 2 separate volumes at one point. You are looking for the combined volume published by OUP in 1987. You should be able to pick up a copy quite reasonably on Amazon/Alibris/AbeBooks. Wouldn't be surprised if Dave Eyre had a copy or two for sale.

The postage was £2.75.

It has to be said it's some time since I was a student and the thing was probably in print and full price back then... in fact that was before the days of Amazon... but let's not dwell on that...
