Greetings to everyone. My wife and I are making a vacation in Ottawa, Ontario. Does anyone know of any folk/acostic venue clubs in Ottawa. I was plesently surprised to discover they still have a folklore Centre

just google open mics Ottawa and you'll find a few places. I haven't really played any clubs there since Rasputins burned down. The crowd has moved to another venue on Tues. The folklore center would know where that is... good luck, have fun

A popular venue across the river from Ottawa in Quebec is the Black Sheep Inn.

Another spot in Ottawa - not far from The Folklore Center - is Irene's Pub

There is a folk night at Whispers restaurant, on Richmond road (downtown)...not sure about details, but Whispers staff could tell you.

Ron Moores and myself, two alumni of the "Back 40" band plan to do something this fall at the open stage there...don't know exactly when!
