Here I am!

It's my song "La Folie Tristan". You can't see them, but there was an audience out there - honestly!

Great song, Anne, I subscribed to your channel on youtube (I'm tradfolky1) and shared it on my facebook page. Hope that gets you some more views.

Very nice. I could hear them, the audience, or was it people walking around the perimeter? I find it disconcerting when folks wander about and talk when someone is performing. Lovely song, voice and picking!

It wasn't the ideal performance space as there were people wandering around, getting food, playing board games and generally being unsettled. Luckily there were also some people who were sitting and listening (and, even, singing along when I suggested that) which helped to keep me focussed.

There's a second one up now, too ... "A Song for MacBeth".

Hint: YouTube allows you to put in your own comments. You don't need long spoken introductions.

Jack - I think my husband thought it was good to leave in the intro, but possibly we should consider editing it.

I've figured with my own videos, that if something in the song needs an explanation, it should be left on. Especially if it's part of setting up the song. Other times, I agree, it's best to start at the beginning of the song and stop when the applause rings out.
