Subject: RE: Finally got a YouTube video! From: katlaughing Date: 06 Sep 10 - 11:33 PM Very nice. I could hear them, the audience, or was it people walking around the perimeter? I find it disconcerting when folks wander about and talk when someone is performing. Lovely song, voice and picking! |
Subject: RE: Finally got a YouTube video! (Anne Lister) From: Anne Lister Date: 07 Sep 10 - 04:19 AM It wasn't the ideal performance space as there were people wandering around, getting food, playing board games and generally being unsettled. Luckily there were also some people who were sitting and listening (and, even, singing along when I suggested that) which helped to keep me focussed. |

Subject: RE: Finally got a YouTube video! (Anne Lister) From: Phil Cooper Date: 07 Sep 10 - 05:27 PM I've figured with my own videos, that if something in the song needs an explanation, it should be left on. Especially if it's part of setting up the song. Other times, I agree, it's best to start at the beginning of the song and stop when the applause rings out. |
