I inherited a CF Martin F-50 from my Grandpa and can't find much info on it...anybody know anything???

Several 'BIG' companies do this, not just in the music industry. I suspect it is because they refuse to handle complaints (perhaps they get too many).

I usually avoid dealing with such companies because companies that are more approachable, generally give better service.

Seems to me I have heard this complaint before. C. F. Martin, for whatever reason, chooses not to have a public e-mail site. Some on these threads have attributed this to sheer arrogance on C. F. Martin's part, but I'm sure they all play Taylors.

Yeah, that IS strange. I looked all over the Martin Website and found no way to contact them at all - not a phone number or anything. Maybe they want to avoid getting inundated with e-mail.
