Subject: Lyr Req: Miss Sally Ann (or some such) From: GUEST,sdean7855 Date: 12 Sep 10 - 03:19 PM Back in the fall of 1965 at Amherst College I heard a talented freshman sing this song with guitar accompaniment. I remember only a beginning and a bit of the end, though I do remember the tune. Here goes: Walking down the street, I chanced to meet Miss Sallyyyyyyyyyy Ann, She was a hip-swinging blue-eyed blonde for every lovin' man I said, "Sweet Sal. be a honey, be a pal, give me joy, gimme fun, show me sweet Momma just how it done" Well, she winked a wink of her blue false eyelashed eye and I knew right then I was her man < and that's what I remember of the beginning...I have just a bit of the memorable ending> 'Til the very next morning she was the Devil's daughter and I couldn't pass water Anyone have the song complete. The tune has a swinging, stomping beat |
