A thoroughly enjoyable time at a great pub, lots of terrific music and great conversation. A small festival in the making?

Presumably the pub was the Manifold Inn - I have never known musical events take place there before?

The pub was indeed the Manifold Inn. As to musical events, the same event happened last year, and was similarly successful. Advertising was 'word of mouth', but word seems to have got around; the place was full all weekend, and there were plenty more people playing and singing on the campsite between rain showers. The Young 'Uns were great as usual, but an even younger name to look out for is Amy Condrey, an 18 year old singer/guitarist with a beautiful voice and excellent guitar technique.
Thanks to all who came and made it such an enjoyable weekend. See you next year!
Tim

Great news Stu! She certainly has the ability to hold a room enthralled.

Manifold Inn - is that what used to be the Light Railway Inn?
