Valmai Goodyear from Lewes Folk Club is visiting Bude and looking for a session, we have organised one for Tuesday 14th Sept at 8.30pm in The Main Bar at The Falcon Hotel, Bude, Cornwall. All are welcome to come and join us, if you can make it.

Just a refresh 'cos it's tonight. We shan't be there unfortunately but only in terms of distance.

Just a moment to reflect on how lucky I am. Sitting here, listening to two mates, Les Sullivan and Kitty Vernon, singing so well together.
Up pops this thread with a request from two other good friends, Terry and Anne, from Wales asking yet another friend Lucy, about a song which she wrote. And of course this thread is all about another friend, Valmai, wanting a session.

Miskin Man Andy - you are so right, because I just popped into this thread on account of it mentioning Bude and Valmai in the thread title.

I certainly wasn't expecting to find a post with my name in it, but I've also been trying to work out whether the Terry and Ann who posted to the Swanage thread as Square the Circle are the Terry and Ann I recognised in the Red Lion as Two of a Hind!

Very grateful to Mudcat and Max for allowing us all to share this wondeful website!

Miskin Man, I am assuming its Terry & Ann Parsons from Wales as they were at West Somerset this year.

Mudcat is great innit! all these lovely people.

Had a wonderful night with Valmai, tunes and a few songs at the end....proper 'ansome it was too!

Yes it is me, ex Two of a Hind. There was some objection to the name, so as I lost my cookie I thought I would change it, this time with the agreement of Ann and it is far more appropriate but thats another story. Sorry for the confusion
