Subject: RE: folk concert evening From: Hamish Date: 15 Sep 10 - 08:55 AM A quick google turns up the reason for Guest's name: 3 John St Rochester ME1 1YL 01634 843 118 But I can't find any information about gig dates at the pub's nor the band's web-sites. |
Subject: RE: folk concert evening From: Richard Bridge Date: 15 Sep 10 - 01:17 PM It was yesterday, the 14th Sept. I was jockstrap (well, to put it another way, it was the debut for Roger the Chorister IV as support - a few bloopers but a fair wall of sound in places). Pigs Ear were nice as always, but I had to leave before the end as feeling not well. |

Sept 24/25 is the 100 Ale there (Dal the Landlord's 40th and Growler's 60th burpdays) |
Subject: RE: folk concert evening From: GUEST,Girl Friday Date: 15 Sep 10 - 02:53 PM Hope you are feeling better Richard. You did look a bit poorly. All three of you did a grand job though, and if I hadn't heard Growler offer you a main booking, would have demanded one. We don't get to the G I as often as we'd like to, but last night was a must. The Piggies were excellent, many new songs (well new old songs). |
