I was just hoping someone on this forum could help me out with that , ive considered making one many times but don't have the tools , or supplies for that .It doesn't matter the type or condition , and im willing to pay shipping cost , banjos are very hard to come by cheaply round my way ,if at all , and it would really cool if someone could start me off on my musical journey .

You can get a hot one pretty cheap. By hot, I don't mean stolen........I mean like hot, as in recently burned by friends and relatives of the previous owner......................

This might be better above the line.

And it'd be a good idea for folky to give an indication roughly which part of the world he or she lives in.

Ive played tenor but it literally fell apart in my hands , after a while of use, and now i really want to get back to playing the banjo , preferably 5 string because i've fallen in love with old timey and bluegrass music and have been watching people play it for a while .

I bought a cheap one from Musician's Friend..$150 for banjo, gigbag and dvd. It was surprisingly decent and the shipping was free.
