If anyone else in the forum lives in Edmonton and plays guitar, you may be interested to know that when Martin Simpson is in town on Saturday October 2nd to play at the Northern Lights Folk Club he will also be doing a guitar workshop in the afternoon at the Queen Alexandra Hall. It runs from 2-4 p.m. and is limited to 20 participants. The event is being organised by Avenue Guitars and you can get tickets from them ($25 each) at 780-448-4827.
