Has to do with a folklore project...I realize they might not want to be folklored but you never know.

I have heard the heart of the kingdom in US is in South Carolina..true? False?

Does anyone know their musical traditions?

We need contact information if someone can contact me privately. This concerns the women's music box project..nationwide study of women musicians...but time is of the essence. I realize that they might not want to participate, but it should be their decision, assuming the geographical location is where the folklorists are presentaly, that time has not run out, and the clock is ticking. mg
