Subject: Crown, Otford - beer, folk, morris & live music bands From: Kev The Clogs Date: 25 Sep 10 - 08:32 AM Hi there. Just to let you know, the Crown in Otford is having its annual October beer festival on thr 8th, 9th and 10th October. All folk singers and musicians are invited, specifically for the Saturday afternoon. Bishop Gundulf's Morris will be there Saturday afternoon. Any other morris sides that can make it are more than welcome to attend. Please PM me if you plan to dance. There will be a good selection of foods available. Some brilliant beers and ciders. Live music will be happening all weekend, free, with a selection of bands promoted by the pub and Brandywine Music. Hope to see loads of you there for this annual event where Mrk and Fiona are very welcoming and put a lot of effort into making the weekend work. Cheers Kev |

Subject: RE: Crown, Otford - beer, folk, morris & live music band From: Girl Friday Date: 29 Sep 10 - 09:33 AM Genuinely sorry about this Kev. We thought we'd avoided all local fests Hoping for half decent weather, we didn't want it too late in the year. Next year will be earlier. How about a local organiser starting a thread with "taken dates" on... Romany Man ? Crayford Arms ? Good Intent Crowd ? |
