The Ashley Gang is our headliner. These guys (and gal) have played all the major folk festivals around Florida for years. Their original songs about Florida and its heritage will provide for a most enjoyable afternoon. Barry Brogan will open the show. Barry's been playing slide guitar for years. Florida seems to have a busy folk scene. I went there once from the UK on my hols - there were monsoon-type rains every afternoon that washed alligators into the roads. Pretty fascinating place though. The only music I heard was Walt Disney stuff as I had three kids to keep amused! I would like to go back sometime and see the real Florida inc. the folk scene.
