My partner is from a Dundee and remembers a song from her childhood which always made her cry. All she remembers is "My hee ro shee mama" I've tried Google to no avail and, while I realise there's very little to go on, it's just possible that for somebody here ti might spark a memory. Thanks in advance.

Wanda Jackson recorded Fujiyama Mama quite a few years back. Hiroshima is one of the places mentioned in the song.

I bet you it IS "Fujiyama Mama" - I've line dit up on YouTube. June in bed asleep at the moment, but I'll play it to her in the morning and see what she says.
