The International Shakuhachi Society is a forum for people interested in the Japanese flute.

The site includes a number of min'yo (folk songs) and compositions, excerpts of music of each piece listed, history, glossary, teachers, etc.
A very interesting site with much information.

For those interested in min'yo, or folk pieces, the index is:
Min'yo Folk

The site is rather complex, and it takes a while before navigation becomes easy.
