Subject: Tech: Watch out for 'Scotia Online' phishing From: Little Hawk Date: 01 Oct 10 - 02:08 PM There are some new emails coming in here (Canada) that are surely more phishing attempts to defraud people. They purport to come from Scotia Online. I have no account with Scotiabank. I'm letting other people know so they can delete that stuff. |

It seems to me likely that they want to become a 'bookmark' address on my system. I reported it to the banks concerned (or in one case, not at all concerned. -I wasn't one of their customers!) and there is a govenment department here looking into it. |
