Subject: Lyr Req: Rob Van Sant's 'The Blues.' From: GUEST,JenBurdoo Date: 02 Oct 10 - 07:27 PM Wow, it's been ages since I posted here. I spent a month in the UK (mostly Scotland) in August and got to see a number of Ceilidhs and bigger-name groups, including the Battlefield Band and Martyrs, Rogues and Worthies (Which is basically Alan Reid and the band's soundman, Rob Van Sant). They sang a lovely romantic song about the Blues and Royals regiment, IIRC about a girl watching her boy go off to war. Anyone know the lyrics to this? |

You can listen to it, download it, or print the lyrics and chords at Alan Reid & Rob van Sante's web site. The lyrics have also been posted at Mudcat here: Lyr Add: THE ROUT OF THE BLUES. |
