Graeme the owner has been very pleased with the people who have been along to the singarounds, and as such the bar area is there to be used for future singarounds.

I will no longer be Mc'ing for family and medical reasons. I may go along to the odd one.

So, it is down to the people who perform at singarounds to make it successful in the future. So if nobody supports it, then obviously, the availablity will disapear at some point.

Graeme asked me originally if I could set up such an evening for him and let performers know that it exists. I have done that, and it was never the intention that I would carry on Mcing.

I would personally like to thank all those people that have supported and helped it get off the ground. I would also like to say what very good quality evenings they were, irrespective of how many people turned up.
A very big thanks to you all.

I hope it carries on Arthur itus, as it is a pleasant evening. I can only go to about one in two or three but will do my best.
It does need people to support it, but if it does finish, it will not be through lack of effort on your part. Thank you for putting in the time and effort to get it off the ground and sincere wishes for your future good health.

Les where do I start whoops I mean Arthur itus, Im so sorry the about your health and running such events I know it takes its toll.
You are to be saluted for doing such great work for the folk scene and for local talent looking for a stage.
Im sorry I have been unable to support you due to my own health issues the constant pain of Arthritis and the disability caused by CFS and Fibromyalgia, Its never clear to others unless they have been there in one way or another or have the condition themselves, I think its easy to mis-judge each other, people say Simon why are you off to the sun always?
Well heat is the enemy of all my problems and does me the world of good however It takes me far away from my music and supporting events such as yours so again my appologies Les.
The years you have put in to the Folk scene is admirable and like so many I have spent many a great night being treat to the delightful nights you have brought to Lincolnshire.
All I can say is I wish you better health my friend and like so many others I cannot express my gratitude enough for the good you have done for Folk music.
Simon Johnson

Well Thanks Rockhen and Simon.
It's just a damn shame that you have your issues Simon. The world is missing out on your musical talents and that is a crying shame.
I hope the Hope Tavern singaround continues and grows in strength.
