Subject: RE: Beautiful guitar instr. by Erik Mongrain From: Will Fly Date: 08 Oct 10 - 05:24 PM Clever stuff, LH, and a cool guitar - just doesn't float my personal boat I'm afraid (and it doesn't matter whether it's folk or anything else). I thought, from your initial post, he might be indulging in "hybrid" picking - i.e. pick'n fingers - like, say Richard Thompson or Jerry Donahue. Whatever - thanks for posting. If we never looked at anything new, we'd never find anything new. |

Subject: Beautiful guitar instr. by Erik Mongrain From: Little Hawk Date: 07 Oct 10 - 02:49 PM Check this out: Erik Mongrain He's playing a Rainsong guitar, and it sounds very good. I like how relaxed this guy is when he's playing, and the seamless routine for moving from flatpick to fingerstyle and back again. |
