Subject: RE: Looking For a Poem about soldier Allan Grey From: LadyJean Date: 09 Oct 10 - 12:19 AM Than you! I missed it the last time. I do appreciate it. I heard someone recite the poem when I was 15, and had several bad night's sleep as a result. I've been looking for it for a while now. It would be perfect for Halloween. |

(Usually, they have an entry fee.) I am too late for this year, but there's always next.:-) |

Subject: Folklore: Looking For a Poem From: LadyJean Date: 08 Oct 10 - 12:30 AM I don't know the title. I don't know the author. I do know that the poem is about a soldier named Allan Grey, who dreams of the dead dancing on the eve of Waterloo and knows that he will die the next day. It's a wonderfully creepy poem and would be perfect for Halloween. But I don't know how to find it. |
