The sixth anniversary concert of The Borderline Folk Music Club of Rockland County, NY will take place on Saturday night, November 13th at 8 PM in Steve Shapiro's Living Room, located at 7 - Trailside Court, New City, NY 10956.

Our featured performers will be Connecticut's premier Bluegrass band, AMY GALLATIN & STILLWATERS who specialize in a unique sound of music which is a blend of traditional bluegrass, folk, country, & western swing. In addition to recording 7 albums, they have appeared with regularity at all of the major bluegrass festivals, both here in the USA as well as in Europe.

Admission is $20 per person ($15 for Borderline members) and we ask that you bring a cold pot luck dessert dish to share with 4 other people. Please note that we are an alcohol free venue.

Besides being the 6th anniversary concert of The Borderline Folk Music Club, this concert was also supposed to celebrate the 40th wedding anniverasry of my wife, Fay (Scanner on Mudcat) and myself. However Fay's father passed away in September and according to Jewish law she must observe an entire year of mourning which among other things prohibits her from listening to music or attending concerts during that time. We will therefore be video taping and pro-tools recording this concert so that Fay can enjoy it when her period of mourning expires next September.
