From: Bobert Date: 14 Oct 10 - 10:07 PM Over the years there have been songs that I associated with when I fell in love, or lust or something in between... But I think for all of us there is that one special song where we were like 12 or 13 when we discovered that the opposite sex was not the enemy but something special... Not too sure what year it was but... ...I was at a friend's house... Reckon it was in the late 50s... Back then we would just have these impromptu dance/sock hops in basements of kid's houses and I was dancing with this girl when someone put on Kathy Young's "A Thousand Stars" (in the sky, make me realize...) and that was the point in my young life where I realized that girls weren't the enemy... How about you??? B~ |
