Subject: Clearing personal archives-making space?

I've noticed that we are filling up the Mudcat so muhc that it is no longer an option to search the forum just by subject, which is okay. I find it is usually faster, for me, to search by name, anyway, in order to find those old threads I love or want to refer to.
BUT, it occurred to me that we might be able to help out, if Max wants us to, if we each knew how to not only archive our personal and sent messages, but also copy them to our own files, which I know how to do, and/or delete them from our Mudcat files. I have no idea if they take up that much space or not, but thoguht it was worth asking about.
