I tried to find the lyrics of The Band played Waltzing Mathilda and only lyrics that come up are the persiflage, whatever I choose of the two possibilities. Won't you please, please help me1

there was no h in matilda. I searched for waltzing and the last two of 15 hits were versions of the song you wnat. there is also a parody. Proper name are always a problem because there is usally more than one possible spelling. always search for more than one phrase or word when the first one does not work.
