For those who like a little bit of Americana with the occasional touch of bluegrass and country blues, all wrapped up in the person of a phenomenal talent who writes great, moving songs, sings beautifully and excels on a variety of instruments.... the mighty Darrell Scott will be playing two gigs here in the UK this week (plus one in Dublin) following his stint on tour as part of Robert Plant's Band of Joy.
3rd Nov - Sugar Club, Dublin
4th Nov - Water Rats, London
6th Nov - Blackfriars, Glasgow

Darrell Scott is one of those massive talents who is almost completely unknown here (perhaps this might change with his Plant related publicity) and he is just superb live, please check out his gigs if you can. I will be driving 200 miles to attend the Glasgow gig, he is that good!

Thanks for the Crooked Road link, TCB, what a superb performance. I've seen him with Tim O'Brien a couple of times, and been knocked out every time.
