Mozilla firefox is giving me fits, and I am considering google chrome. Any suggestions?

Erm, yes. Try Chrome and see if you like it. Hardly a rocket science decision, is it?

Ran into a problem years ago with Mozilla Firefox. It seemed to have been caused by my machine having Explorer on it too. Eventually ditched Firefox. I've used Chrome for years now with no discernable difficulties. Never gone near Explorer again. FWIW.

Well, it's always something simple. I went to tools/clear browser data - which I had done before. This time, I also cleared cookies and "other site data," whatever that refers to.
I hate clearing cookies, because then I have to look up login information for a number of sites. Oh, well. Now I can look at e-mail, as well as YouTube. A simple cache clear resolved both problems.

*shrug* I just played one in my copy of Chrome.

When I have a problem with YouTube it is usually Javascript turned off or prohibited.

That's the version of Chrome I have: 7.0.517.41

I tried to find an update of Flash for Chrome, but found that Flash is built into Chrome, so the latest update of Chrome is supposed to have the latest Flash update.

I'm figuring it's some sort of scripting problem, but haven't figure out what it is yet.

I just played several youtubes no problem. Which version of Chrome? Last update number should be 7.0.517.41.

Just recently, I lost the ability to play YouTube videos on my Google Chrome browser. When I go to YouTube, the whole page displays strangely, all in what looks like courier monospaced type.
Also, my Hotmail doesn't work properly - I can't open messages by clicking on them.

I can play YouTube and access Hotmail on Firefox, but not on Google Chrome.

My hotmail works on my 64-bit Internet Explorer, but not YouTube, which depends on Flash, which is 32-bit - I've known that for a long time.

But why am I having problems with Google Chrome all of a sudden?
