In that case grab a ticket fast!! It was a lovely evening, with a warm and appreciative audience. I always enjoy watching good musicians who are enjoying themselves ... as well as listening of course. And the band most certainly were having a great time as well.

And they're on at Mellor Brook community centre (Lancashire) this Saturday, November 13th.
I believe there are still some tickets left.

On Thursday of this week, November 11th, Electric Voices will be hosting an appearance of Methera.

Methera are Lucy Deakin, John Dipper, Emma Reid and Miranda Rutter" - extraordinarily talented musicians whose music "demonstrates their own spirit and independence."

The string quartet (two violins, viola and cello) "came together to explore the classical construct as a medium for traditional music. The outcome is sheer delight, with a fascinating and varied selection of great pieces, many of which are from the pens of the quartet's line-up." (Frank Hudson)

As one of them now resides in Canada, they do not make many appearances in the UK these days, and this affords a now rare chance to see them in action.

The group will be appearing at the Music Institute, at the Guildford Institute in Ward Street, Guildford, Surrey on Thursdayat 8pm. Tickets purchased in advance are £10 (£11 on the night). For further information please see
