The Manx dance is better than the Morris, but both are good.

Interesting. I wonder if I should fire up Reason on the laptop, plug it into a small PA and go along to the local Morris Side......
I now know that you can't use the same beat for Morris as you can for the Manx Dance. The Manx is a light Jungle, but you need something more like a fast Hiphop for Morris!
How would I know that?
To be honest, I did meet a rap artist once who made a feature of being English and having pride in it, and I made some backing tracks for him using Morris tune samples in the choruses.
He never used them though, because he was utterly convinced that he was already perfect in every way and was for ever on the verge of 'going global'!
That will be enough to tell some people who I'm talking about!
