Hmm, I see someone decided to imitate the idea and get politicians and celebrities and heros and charidy in on it. I wonder whether the subversive 'peoples' comment or the crass commercial cash-in will succeed?

The essential idea is that, if you want to make this protest stick, you should do something about it; not just sit back and wonder what will happen. Join the group, actually make the download. Email all your newsgroups, mailing lists and your address book - send your Christmas cards out with the suggestion that others should do the same.

It's time there was some real music in the charts at Christmas.
