The Dallas/Ft. Worth based pirate band, the Bilge Pumps are proud to present "A Pirate's Christmas Wish", a pirate-themed Christmas recording. Combining two of the country's favorite things, the holiday season and pirates, this CD takes traditional holiday classics, such as "The Twelve Days of Christmas", "Deck the Halls", and more, and gives them a piratical overhaul flavored with the Bilge Pumps' brand of goofy comedy.

The recording features thirty-one tracks of twisted Christmas carols and holiday songs soaked with buccaneer buffoonery that fans of these yuletide classics love while still appealing to those that view the holidays with more cynicism. "The pain you can inflict on others with this CD makes the holidays fun" says the band's guitarist, Christopher Dallion. "Carrying on the great traditions of Christmas, greed and frivolity, this recording has captured the spirits like nothing but rum-soaked eggnog can do", adds David Ruffin, who is responsible for most of the piratized lyrics to the songs. "Christmas is a time of warmth, hope, and piracy."

The "A Pirate's Christmas Wish" recording can be purchased in both CD and downloadable mp3 formats securely online at the Bilge Pumps' website at
