Subject: Tech: Java update? From: JHW Date: 15 Nov 10 - 06:16 AM I've just installed a Java update (recommended by itself) but now find in my list of plug-ins I have Java 6.0.15, 6.0.18, 6.0.21 and 6.0.22(shown as new) all shown as separate plug-ins. Should today's update have overwritten the others and so should I delete the earlier numbers? Thanks, John |

Subject: RE: Tech: Java update? From: buddhuu Date: 15 Nov 10 - 08:25 AM I always delete the old versions after an update. Never had a problem. See this page on JAVA.COM which addresses this issue. |
