Subject: RE: Robin Madge albums on Bandcamp From: GUEST,Black belt caterpillar wrestler Date: 11 Sep 13 - 07:03 AM I've just put up another couple of albums. One is an instrumental album, Caterpillar Wrestling which is concertina tunes of my own composition with some other instruments multi-tracked on top. The other is Coining It, compositions made on the PC. I have found it fairly easy to set these up but have not got round to doing any publicity so sales have been minimal! |

Subject: Robin Madge albums on Bandcamp From: Black belt caterpillar wrestler Date: 17 Nov 10 - 07:35 AM Well I've finally got round to putting a couple of my old albums up on the internet for download. This is my try out of Bandcamp. Seeing as I'm not expecting to make many sales (though I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised) I went for a site that does not have any up front costs. The albums are "Dawn Chorus" and "The Harbour Wall" and to find them look under Robin Madge at Bandcamp, probably at robin.madge@bandcamp.com though I am at work so can't check up at it is a banned site from here! These are my first two albums which I recorded back in the 1980s and sold as cassettes. I've put the lyrics up and also some appropriate images, several of my late father's photographs together with some of mine. I'll report back eventually to say how the experiment has gone in case anyone else is thinking of using the site. Robin Madge |
