Given the further heavy snow today and that forecast for tomorrow I have decided to postpone the start of this new session until the new Year.

Roger

Was planning to come across, but weather forecast looks real dodgy for rest of week so may not be possible.

I've had some private expressions of interest and some definite commitments to come - hopefully we will take over the bar and make it a great session.

Just to reiterate that it is planned as a singaround but we won't turn any tune players away either.

Roger

Cross Keys Acoustic

Here in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, UK. a run down pub - the Cross Keys - has been taken over and refurbished by the award winning Ossett Brewery and the new Cross Keys opened yesterday November 19th.

I have been in discussions with the brewery and the landlady with a view to running an acoustic session in the pub and they are all on board with supporting live music in this venue. As a result, we plan to run the first open session there on Saturday December 4th at 8pm and I hope that some of you might be able to come down and lend your talents to that first session.

It will be in the bar rather than in a separate, closed off room so it will not be for the faint hearted but I hope that, with the support of the staff and the brewery, this will turn out to be a popular session that will be a showcase for potential bookings in the pub as well as a good thing in its own right.
As with previous Beverley sessions I have negotiated a free pint for every performer as an added incentive.
If you can come it would be great and if you can let me know either way that would also be great.

All the best

Roger
ps

Please feel free to pass this on to anyone who you think might be interested
