I'm sure that some of you in the Sheffield area will remember Beryl. I've been trying to contact her for some time and have finally heard from Fae, her daughter via Ray Padgett and John Bartley - otherwise known as Monologue John - that although frail Beryl is still going strong.

She has a great voice, I still have her tape, "When Midnight Comes"

Joe: I'm trying to persuade mum to start going to local clubs BUT ... we need disabled access and easy access for public transport (taxi too expensive & I never did get round to learning to drive!!) Any suggestions???
