Subject: CD Replication From: Nathan in Texas Date: 30 Aug 99 - 01:01 PM In the process of making a CD for the first time. Recording is done and I'm at the point of selecting a company to have the CDs made. Would like advice from those who used different companies on how satisfied you were. Are there any specifically to avoid? From their internet sites, they all look good, so I don't have anything to go on except price. Would appreciate any input. Thanks! |

Subject: RE: Help: CD Replication From: Susan A-R Date: 30 Aug 99 - 11:07 PM The fellow who has done my husband's editing recommended that we check in with the following companies. Americ Disc 2525 Rue Canadian, Drummondville, Quebec, J2B 8A9 Canada. 800 253 0419 (I personally haven't made it through their voice mail system yet.) Fax is 819-478-4575 U.S. Optical Disc, Route 109 And Eagle Drive, Sanford, ME, 04073, 207-324-1124 Omnet, (used to be Omni Resources) Millbury MA, 508-865-4451. We have also produced recordings through Sanyo Laser Products, 1767 Sheridan St. Richmond, IN, 47374, 317-935-7574. The comon thread with all of these folks is that it is very difficult to get calls returned, print specs sent, and samples of packaging. WE've gotten the farthest with communication with Omnet. Hope this is helpful. (And accurate. It's past my bedtime and my eyes are blurry) Susan A-R |
