Apparently the pub chain that leases the pub has gone bust so tonights session will be at the Lion & Lamb under Bootham Bar, dunno whats happening after that

A great night was had at the Lion & Lamb, there we had a dedicated room which was eirily quiet, quite different to the rough and tumble of the Tap. The highlight for me was an italian passerby who watched for a while through the window, then came in, borrowed Steves squeezebox and gave a jaw dropping performance of what presumably were italian traditional tunes.

Sometimes the shift from an old session hangout is for the better!

I do hope our good sea music friends that met for years at the Seamen's Church and Institute in NYC's South Street Sea Port find a new home soon, and tell someone where it is!

Hi Lucy, yes we are definitely re-open. We don't have anything in the diary for your Christmas do on the 23rd or is it just a get together for drinks? If so could you let me know how many and what times just for staffing.
