Subject: Football songs, and FC United From: GUEST,Gadaffi Date: 29 Nov 10 - 08:09 AM There was an article in last week's Observer about the F.A. Cup success of FC United of Manchester. As an Aldershot Town fan, I am currently off with my tail between my legs after the Dover catastrophe, but new and innovative football chants make me smile. In my experience, attempts at terrace songs get truncated with action on the field, and are more or less the same up and down the land. FC United's have a lot more than normally associated with the usual neanderthal fayre at other grounds, and I suspect they've been infiltratted by a folkie. Go to http://www.fcunited.ru/en/songs.php and enjoy! Viva la vuvuzela! |
