Only one Hyde Park Street as I know of:

And the "blue coated gentlemen" referred to in the song are almost certainly Bow Street Runners, so yes, I'd say definitely a London song.

i originally did a search for london folk songs that proved successful. iwas at a folk club on friday and heard a song called the three jolly sneaksmen with a reference to hyde park street.is this hyde park in london? can anyone shed any light?
