Hi I heard these songs on independantscottishaudio. I was wondering if anyone has the lyrics for these songs?

Subject: Lyr Add: RESCUE (Fraser McNaughton/Tartan Amoebas)

For those who have never heard of these before: Tartan Amoebas is the name of a Scottish band, "Giant," from 1999, is one of their albums, and RESCUE and DAN are the titles of 2 songs on that album.

This is what I think I hear in the sound files at the Isa Music web site that Tim provided the link to:

RESCUE
Fraser McNaughton

Nothing comes from nothing, so they say.
Nothing comes from nothing; truth must be told.
I always was the one you loved, but never really known.

Rescue me now; I don't want to be alone.
Rescue me now; give me a shout out from home.

Take away my pain and sorrow.
Then I might make it until tomorrow.
Let us be; don't us be as one. [Not sure about this line.]

Once I was stronger; now I am weak.
I never needed anyone like I need you.

[There are lots of repeats in this song which I didn't bother to annotate.]

DAN
Julie Fowlis, Fraser McNaughton

[Seems to be in Gaelic.]
