Zits is one of my favorites too. I'll have to delve into the family history a little more.

I love Zits & had never heard of the older brother so went searching & found lots of good stuff in Wikipedia. Thanks for starting the thread.

Chad Duncan

Chad Duncan is Jeremy's older brother by four years. He attends college (the college has been identified in the strip as the University of Notre Dame)and is an overachiever and the object of much jealousy by Jeremy. In his first few appearances, Chad was said to be the perfect child, having his face slightly obscured, and having a more muscular build. He was later re-drawn as looking like an older version of Jeremy with a goatee. Chad is an occasional character and rarely appears, typically showing up during the holiday seasons and leaving abruptly. In one strip, he told Jeremy he had been there for two weeks already. After Jeremy said he needed to pay more attention, Chad replied, "That's what I keep telling your sister." Chad is a business major.

Chad has appeared before.
I have just sent my son (in England) his 8th Zits book.
I started giving them to him 18 years ago when he was 13 and looked like Jeremy!!!

In today's comic panel, teen-aged Jeremy turns out to have an older, never seen brother, Chad. Could this be an homage to the old folk-rock duo?
