Not to be a whatever, but this thread is for Gems that people find "out of the norm". I don't consider The Chieftans or The Dubliners to be outside of what people can easily search on their own.

GREAT links and I did enjoys these links when I saw them, but this thread could be 100,000 posts by now if posters linked to easily searchable stuff.

Elvis Presley backstage rehearsal, 1972 (2 1/2 minute clip). I've always liked the song they're doing here, "Twelve Gates in the City." The Jordanaires and The Sweet Inspirations harmonizing, I believe. When they get to the hallelujah background it sounds so natural, like breathing. Saw this clip somewhere years ago, pleased to find it on Youtube.
