Still hoping that the ceilidh will be going ahead. Have spoken to the Blacksmith's at Rothwell who say that the road is still clear.

I asked my wife to make Speculaas, a speciality biscuit eaten at this time of the year in the Netherlands, but she is saying it's a Mince pie competition.
I said that maybe their could be a Foreigners Christmas Biscuit competition. At least she would win :-)

Excellent night, with a full room. Very good considering the weather.

Even though my arthritic knees wouldn't allow me to dance, it was great watching the others.

Well organised Joy and Dave.

The band was very good.

The Grimsby Morris Play was as usual excellent.
