This Quire can really sing. We went to see them during their Suffolk tour, a varied well balance program, a great night out.
If you can get there go and hear them, the warm glow will see you through the cold weather.

Thursday night at 7.30, in the Globe at Hay, in Hay-on-Wye, a Yuletide concert by The Village Quire, interspersed with readings admirably performed by actor Phil Smith and - if they can dig their way out of the drifts! - the Parti Mari Lwyd from Llantrisant. It's more than 60 years since the Grey Mare came to Hay.
The Quire - 12 strong - DON'T sing carols that you would expect to hear. A bit like the Watersons forty years ago; rich sounds and superb harmonies; will be a cracking night.
Worth braving the cold; a night to remember!
