Ah, sorry 'bout that, submitted message before I even typed anything! oops!
Anyway just wanted to post a link to a youtube playlist of the Brighton Taverners final concert. I came across it by accident and thought it might be of interest to someone out there. It is very good quality footage and features appearances by Steve Knightley and Phil Beer! Well worth a look!

A veteran Sussex band is to play its last concert on Monday December 20th.

The Brighton Taverners are calling it a day after more than 40 years of playing pubs, clubs and festivals in the UK and Europe - not to mention school halls, Channel ferries and summer seasons on Brighton seafront. They have recorded 5 albums and many TV and radio appearances.

The present line up consists of founder member Stuart Reed, his daughter Amy and Geoff Goater. They will be joined on the night by sometime band members Paul Downes and Steve Knightley.

Sadly, another founder member Andy Tunmer died some years ago and when Pete Cartlidge passed away earlier this year the band decided to make this year's Christmas charity fundraiser their last appearance.

It takes place at Brighton Trades and Labour Club, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 3DA and will be raising money for The Martlets Hospice.
