Subject: RE: Xmas session Kelk East Riding From: GUEST,Johnjo Date: 31 Dec 10 - 02:38 PM Thanks everyone - it was very enjoyable, despite the trek. I particularly liked the rendition of Rakes of Kildare - have added that to my 'must learn' list. |
Subject: RE: Xmas session Kelk East Riding From: ossonflags Date: 31 Dec 10 - 01:56 PM Thanks Nick, nice to hear you say that. What can one say? as usual the Burgemeister of Beeford, the venerable and lovely Dickie Mint had organised one of the best music and singing sessions of the year in one of East Ridings best kept secrets; The Chestnut Horse in Kelk. Lovely to see and sing and play with old friends and new. Four hours or there abouts of classy music stuff and excellent company. Thanks a million Dick and all from Mary and me. |

Subject: RE: Xmas session Kelk East Riding From: GUEST,dicky boy Date: 29 Dec 10 - 11:42 AM We will be running till about 6. 30pm and it is a family friendly session so kids welcome. |
Subject: RE: Xmas session Kelk East Riding From: Johnjo Date: 27 Dec 10 - 06:12 PM Just wondering - is this a family-friendly gig? If I can arrange it, I'd like to bring my Junior Tomboy, 10, who is quite fond of folkie-type music. She's a dab-hand at Jingle-bells on the concertina, and no bother in company. No worries if it's grown-ups only. John |
