my wife just gave me my surprise xmas present..

a ticket to see Kate Rusby in concert in May !!!!!????

.. that's 40 effin quid total including the wife's ticket..
half the price of the electro harmonix guitar pedal I suggested I wanted but didn't get.

Did I ever mention just how much my wife really likes Kate Rusby ???

Well at least the mrs is excited and still in a good mood for xmas..

I `ad to take some bloke with a very funny name up to Broadcasting `ouse in my cab the other day. I knew `e wasn`t English by `is odd chat. `e was making one God awful din in the back, I thought `e was ill or something.
I said, " You alright in there guvnor? You sound a bit iffy to me."
`e said, "Niet, I just go to record world music for folk programme."
I said. " What language is that then you just been doing?"
