I `ad that Kate Rusby in my cab the other day. I recognised `er `cos she `ad `er "BBC Says I`m a Genius" badge on.
I said, " ere Kate, I `eard you on BBC2 before Christmas telling the interviewer, `oo ought to get out a bit more, about going round the pubs and doing songs and carols, like what we`ve been doing for ages. Why is it that you go "wandering" up there and we go "wassailing" down `ere?"
She said, "Well, it`s like this Jim. We start off wassailing but after we`ve done "The Red Lion", "The Dog & Partridge", "The `aywain", "The Bachelor & Ram" and about another `alf a dozen we find our selves wandering!!"

Whaddam I Like??

Can be dowloaded using Radio Downloader, or captured with Audacity using 'Stereo Mix' input setting, the default on XP, but this has to be enabled on Win 7.

Shame the BBC Radio Gloucester replay is in such appalling quality. That version of Gloucester Wassail by Johnny Coppin sounds different from the album - from the live broadcast of the 22/12/95 concert at Cheltenham Town Hall perhaps?
