Subject: RE: Good Intent Concert Night 11 January From: DeanofRochester Date: 10 Jan 11 - 05:16 PM Loose Change Theory as they are now called are a trio comprising the amazing voice of Jo Eden(imho the best female voice of all the Kent 'folk' bands I've seen) plus two other good musicians Ray (guitar, cittern and backing vocals) and Bob (lead acoustic guitar and backing vocals) . Their repertoire consists of some rather lovely self-penned compositions as well as trad songs (eg The Blacksmith) and the occasional foray into Acoustic Rock ballads. Jo's voice alone makes it well worth attending, but they also make a good sound with their 3-part harmonies. Saw them again last week at Ash Midwinter Folk festival and they were one of the day's highlights, from a strong field of folk musicians including a capella and Stuart Pendrill to name but two. And it's free of course (voluntary collection taken). Be there or be bare :) |
